How do I find the right size in my Owie Wear gloves?

Owie Wear gloves come in 3 different sizes.

SMALL which fit children ages 3-4 years old

Medium which fit children ages 5-6 years old

Large which fit children ages 7-9 years old

Owie Wear is made with 8% spandex so these gloves are meant to fit snug to the skin. Sizing may vary based on your child’s hands so make sure to follow the measurements from the sizing chart under the SIZE tab on the website. Are Owie Wear gloves machine washable?

You betcha! Washable and re-wearable! We know how busy you are, so we created a product that can be tossed in the wash with your other items. Just make sure to put them on a cold gentle cycle with like colors. Never add bleach or other softeners. We find the best results in keeping the prints and colors vibrant is to lay flat to dry, but putting them on tumble low in your dryer will also work. Again, convenience is KEY!

CAUTION - Fabric colors are subject to fade over time if you choose to tumble dry on low.

Why did we choose bamboo for our glove fabric?

There are so many features and benefits to using bamboo fabric. First of all its noticeable softness. It is durable and holds its shape even after washing. No saggy, stretched-out gloves here! It is extremely gentle which makes it the perfect fabric for sensitive or irritated skin. It is also lightweight and breathable. The biggest bonus is that bamboo is sustainable. Did you know that bamboo does not require irrigation or pesticides to grow? WOW! Pretty cool right?

How do these help my kids eczema or other skin conditions?

Owie Wear gloves are here to help assist in the healing of little hands or to help prevent scratching of other areas of the body. If your skin journey includes special creams or doctor prescribed ointments, we suggest applying at bedtime and covering with Owie Wear gloves. This allows the topicals to absorb in the skin overnight without wiping away on sheets or other clothing. Believe us, no one has time for goopy messes or stains!
